Point of View Task Cards: 32 Paragraph Cards for First and Third Person
Use these 32 task cards to help your student identify first and third person point of view. Most of the cards are pretty straightforward, but there are a few that require careful reading (they will trip up kids who just read the first sentence).
A student answer sheet and an answer key is included, as well as five Challenge Cards which can be used to extend the activity. These task cards are perfect for test prep and will work well at literacy centers, stations, for partner work, or with the whole class using a game like Scoot.
These cards do not directly correlate with Common Core Standards; however, they do support the following standards.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.3.6 Distinguish their own point of view from that of the narrator or those of the characters.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.4.6 Compare and contrast the point of view from which different stories are narrated, including the difference between first- and third-person narrations.
Task Cards for a variety of topics can be found in the Task Card section of my TpT store.
