Do you need some engaging and low prep reading centers for upper elementary? This resource includes 8 point of view centers that are rigorous and engaging.
This center resource contains two different types of centers to review point of view.
6 Point of View Games: Included are six centers, each consisting of two paired passages and a game board with text-dependent questions focusing on point of view. I have included several options for playing these games and two exit slips to use to assess the students.
2 Point of View Task Card Sets: In addition to the games, I wanted to provide my students with opportunities to explore point of view with a variety of questions, including rewriting parts of a story or creating a new story with a specific point of view. These two centers meet that need. Each center includes one passage and twelve task cards.
This resource reviews point of view of literature only and focuses on 1st person point of view, 3rd person point of view, how the point of view affects the story, and noticing differences between two versions of the same story.
