My students often have trouble identifying the point of view of a narrative, so I came up with a simple flowchart to help them distinguish between first person, second person, third person omniscient, third person limited, and third person objective narrators.
Included in the download is a blank organizer for notes, an answer key, and an animated PowerPoint to accompany the organizer.
This product is intended to supplement a lesson on point of view, after you have taught the definitions and characteristics of each narration style. Students can refer to the flowchart when reading narratives or while completing a point of view practice worksheet.
Print the pdf to a smaller size paper for use in an interactive notebook.
