Identifying point of view is not enough for our students with common core. Students also need to notice how the point of view affects the reader's response to characters and situations throughout the text.
This interactive notebook page explains how to identify the most common points of view (1st and 3rd person). I've also included a few tips for what to notice about point of view during a close reading.
Included is a completed sheet that can be used in a notebook as the reference sheet or projected as a teaching tool. Also included is an interactive version which can be used in a notebook or as a quick assessment or exit ticket.
This interactive notebook page can also be found as part of the Language Arts Interactive Notebook Bundle
