This is a lesson that I made over three years. It takes about two full class periods to have students read, highlight and then do the activity at the end. I think that students really respond to the humorous photos and short activities. I often pause and have students summarize definitions to their table group or neighbor. I sometimes also show clips as a break between definitions. I have found that students need direct instructions on what the narrator is and how to figure out the narrative point of view. I have included these specific instructions for students on finding point of view.
