This product comes with scale that can be displayed in the classroom, as well as a student tracking sheet. Students can use the bar graph on the tracking sheet to track their progress throughout a unit on this standard. (This covers Elements 1 and 2 on the Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model: Providing Rigorous Learning Goals/Performance Scales and Tracking Student Progress.)
As they move up the scale, they can check off the vocabulary terms they learn, and reflect on their learning in the KWL chart. (This covers Elements 12 and 13 on the Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model: Helping Students Record/Represent Knowledge and Helping Students Reflect on Learning.)
If students write something on the "What I Know" section that turns out to be a misconception, they can revise their knowledge and add it to the "What I Learned" section. (This covers Elements 18 and 20 on the Marzano Teacher Evaluation Model: Helping Students Examine their Reasoning and Helping Students Revise Knowledge.)
