Teaching Point of View is extremely important in Reading/ELA, especially with the passing of the New Common Core Standards and the closely related Florida LAFS. Students are asked to look closely at a text, understand who is telling the story, and how that influences the path of the story. They are then asked to answer text dependent questions based on what they've read.
These bright, vibrant posters make it easy to do that year round. These posters can be used during a unit on Point of View and will make a beautiful display year round to reinforce the concepts. This is a hard (yet essential) skill for students to master, but these posters will make sure that it is a skill that they will never forget.
The posters can be used in conjunction with my Introduction PowerPoint, which provides teachers with an easy and ready to go way to help students understand the basic types of Point of View and why knowing them is important.
