The point of view in a story we read or write shows us whose eyes we are viewing the story from. Is it from the main character, telling his/her own story? Is someone else telling the story from the outside? Or does this story talk to the reader?
Lesson Objective: Identify parts of a story that reveal an author’s point of view (what pronouns are used? “I”, “Me, mine”? “You, yours?” “They, them, he, she?”... What knowledge/details does the narrator include, or exclude).
