These three handouts allow students to practice identifying point of view: first person point of view, third person limited point of view, third person omniscient point of view, and third person objective point of view. To help students determine the point of view, they will underline any parts of the passages where the narrator reveals a character’s thoughts or feelings. Students will also provide an explanation of how they identified the point of view. These handouts could be used for homework, in-class independent practice, or small group remediation.
