This set of cards is a great way for students to practice the skill of identifying the point of view of a text. It comes in a set of 16 cards and should be printed double-sided, so that there is a back image to the cards. It is also suggested that the cards be laminated. Laminating the cards will allow one to use them many times and throughout the years. Below is a list of ways that one could utilize these cards in the classroom. Enjoy!
Ways to use the Task Cards:
+ Literacy Centers: Students can work by themselves or with a partner to find the main point of view.
+ Table Races: Groups can VS other groups to complete the cards first.
+ Card Hunt: Students can search the room for hidden cards to answer.
+ Head to Head: Students can VS each other to see who can complete a card first.
+ Scoot: Students can move throughout the room to answer each card within a given time limit.
