In this exercise, students are given definitions of the different types of point of view. They are given an example of the same scenario - a girl being tardy for class - written from each point of view. Students then select one of the scenarios listed and write that scenario from the three points of view (just as the model did). Students can work alone or with a partner for this activity.
This has proven effective for all students, especially those who have struggled recognizing the different points of view.
