This unit has two objectives: a) to help students understand point of view & perspective and how they work together b) to give students an opportunity to view the world through another person’s perspective. {If you would like to use these lessons in conjunction with independent reading or a full class novel, click here}.

The file contains a variety of slideshows, lessons, activities and assignments that will review point of view and perspective with students and then provide them with ways to practice their understanding.

Students will be asked to
• reflect and respond
• practice writing from different perspectives (in class activity)
• complete a writing assignment that illustrates what they have learned
*an editable rubric is included
