#### What educators are saying

Great activities for beginning a geometry unit for students with learning difficulties. My students loved it and so did I!

### Description

This 44 page packet provides 19 activities and a quiz on points, line segments, rays, types of lines and types of angles. Students use visuals to generate definitions of each word. Students draw and name lines, segments, rays, angles and points. They distinguish between rays, segments, parallel, intersecting, and perpendicular lines by sorting examples of each. An angle sort is provided where students sort between acute, obtuse, straight and right angles. Recording sheets are provided for 2 angle books, Hamster Champs and Sir Cumference and the Great Knight of Angleland. Instructions for measuring angles are provided and 3 measuring angles practice sheets are included. A review game and memory cards/flashcards are included for hands-on review. Two test prep reviews and a quiz on all of these geometrical figures are also included.

These task cards pair perfectly with this unit and provide excellent test prep:

I've added a new set of task cards that focus on symbolic notation of these components of geometric figures. Check them out here:
