This is a worksheet/graphic organizer I use in my AP English Literature class' unit on The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. It is a simple exercise that provides students good practice in making analytical claims about how the author characterizes a character through four core strategies of prose (tone, diction, details, point of view). I usually use it when I teach those terms pretty early in my unit. And you can also adapt the resource for any other work of prose as well!
