*Poke-It pages are great for strengthening fine motor skills. They make great station activities and will keep your students engaged.
*To set up the Poke-It pages, simply make copies of the page you need and staple it to a piece of construction paper. Students will need a push pin (toothpick or skewer will work also) to poke holes. Student will lay down on carpet (rug) and start poking the large dotted letter outline on top.
*Then, students can poke the smaller letters on the bottom portion of the page. (An extra line is given for students to practice writing the letter with a pencil.)
*After completing the page, students can pull the activity page off of the construction paper. Activity pages can be turned in to the teacher or placed in mailboxes. Construction paper can be hung in the window so that light shining through makes design "pop". :)
