Students will have a great time learning how to classify organisms into respective domains and kingdoms by using Pokémon trading cards!
Six Pokémon trading cards. Each have a picture and a description of the Pokémon. Key words such as multicellular, unicellular, eukaryotic, prokaryotic, heterotrophic, autotrophic, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction are a part of the trading cards. Each of the six kingdoms has a Pokémon represented in this pack. What I did was print out a class set of the trading cards and then laminated them for reuse.
A two-page worksheet (total of 30 questions) is included. Each Pokémon has five questions where students choose the appropriate Domain and Kingdom that it would be classified into followed by justifying their decision.
In the preview there is an example of one trading card and one set of 5-questions. If purchased, the six trading cards are all formatted together and the 30 question of the worksheet are all formatted
