How does this work in my class?
I use the timed diagnostic assessment to discover what level my students are at (they need to achieve 100% to complete that level and move on). Then, students practice their timestables daily (using www.timestables.me.uk on the iPads). On Friday they complete Math Squares (weekly assessment). They move on to a next level when they achieve 100% of those timestables.
I keep track using the whole class tracker when I mark their work. Students also have independent trackers which I laminate and put on their desks so they know which timestables to focus on during iPad time.
