These arctic centers are great for your arctic unit. There are tons of great math and literacy centers.

Vocabulary Cards: Place in your writing center or calendar area. Great reference for beginning writers.
Ten Frame: Pick a Ten Frame Number card. Find the corresponding picture on the recording worksheet. Record the number into the ten frame.
Sequencing Cards: Cut and paste numbers 1-10
Roll and Graph: place the picture cards onto a dice. Have students take turns rolling the dice and recording their results. Great for small group math centers
Race to Trace: Spin the number wheels. Trace the number you spin. First to fill their papers wins!
Spin and Graph: Spin the wheel. Graph the number you spin onto the graphing worksheet.
Arctic Animal Count the Room: Place the ten frame cards around the room or in a container. Have your students pick a card and write the number in the corresponding picture box.
Arctic Animal Write the Room: Place the animal cards around the room. Have your students go around the room recording the words onto the recording worksheet.
Arctic Animal Tally Mark Center: Place the tally mark cards around the room or in a box. Have your students choose a card and record the numeral they see on the card.
Spin and Graph Arctic Animals: Spin the wheel and record the results onto the recording worksheet. (contains 2 games)
Beginning Sounds Graphing: Spin the animal wheel and color the graph that the animal begins with.
Igloo Beginning Sounds: Copy the igloos onto different colors of paper. Then glue on various alphabet beginning sounds pictures. Have your students choose and igloo and record the beginning sound onto the recording worksheet.
