Why is dramatic play important?

Pretend play helps kids to learn about themselves, the world and how things work. Dramatic play centers also help to strengthen a child's language development (e.g. expressive language, vocabulary), social skills and play skills. Children learn a lot through play!

What I love about this pack!

  • It includes a science lab where kids can pretend to be zoologists and study the animals
  • Real life photos of polar animals, the Arctic and Antarctica
  • Kids get to learn where the animals live e.g. polar bears live in the Arctic and penguins live in Antarctica
  • It's fun building an igloo

Included in this pack:

  • "Polar Animals" and "Polar Park" banner
  • Signs and labels to set up different areas (Igloo Base Camp, Science Lab, Polar Park, Ice Fishing, Ticket Office)
  • Arctic circle and Antarctic Circle posters
  • Role play lanyard labels
  • Real life photos to include as part of your display
