This is fun graphing game is part of a cute Polar Animals packet. It is a graphing game where you roll a die (I've provided one!) and fill in that space on the graph until one column reaches the top. There is a place at the bottom for students to analyze their collected data. The best part is that each time you play, the data changes!
The animals included in this free game are: Arctic Hares, Arctic Foxes, Caribou, Penguins, Polar Bears, Seals, Orcas, and Blue Whales. I have also added Reindeer and Killer Whales, since Caribou and Reindeer are very similar and Killer Whales and Orcas are just different names of the same animal. :)
Check out my TPT store to find the rest of this fun packet and an emergent reader, all about Polar Animals! http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Learning-Little-Ones
The corresponding packet is only $3!!! It has lots of resources: an Emergent Reader about Polar Animals, 16 Vocabulary cards, a "Write the Room" Polar Animals set with student response sheet, 10 Polar Animal labeling sheets and corresponding "I Can" statement, a student opinion graph to "Graph the Room" asking which is your favorite polar animal, circle maps of each animal with a sentence prompt on each sheet, a double bubble thinking map to compare 2 animals, a recommended book list, and fact sheets about 8 different Polar Animals, so your research is already done for you! Each animal sheet tells about size, adaptations, diet, family, and where they are found.
Again, that pack is only $3!! I hope this tempts you to try it out! It's called:
Let's Learn about Polar Animals. Have fun!
