This is an activity that works with a variety of speech therapy groups. It includes a recipe to make a polar bear banana snack, in addition to informational paragraphs about polar bears. It also includes information on how to use this with different types of groups. I think planning one activity for the week makes the whole week go a lot more smoothly! This is also a cheap activity because the only things you'll need are bananas, cheerios and mini chocolate chips! My students love to incorporate food and it is highly motivating for them, which also helps the lessons to always go more smoothly. This lesson plan includes pages to target semantics groups, syntax/sentence construction groups, AAC groups and receptive language groups. Additionally, literacy groups can utilize this activity by reading the recipe and filling out the "recipe review" page at the end of the packet.
