Have fun addressing prepositions (in, out, on, off, next to/beside, in front of, beneath/under, behind) in any combination. Add pronouns (she, he, they) to up the challenge! Can be used as a simple teaching activity or as a competitive game.

"Polar Bear Plunge" is designed for use during the winter months. "Lily pad Leap" is the same activity/game with a different look for spring. Aids with carry-over!

You will need an empty tissue box to stand in as the "ice" or "pond." Cut 1" slits in the top corners to hold character cards in the "on" position. (Instructions included.)

Deal all character cards to the players and place the preposition (and pronoun cards if using) face down. On your turn, select a preposition card (or pronoun + preposition) and simply follow the directions. "Off" or "out" cards will place a character back into your hand as will drawing "Too cold!" or "Oh, no!" The object is to get rid of all your cards.

Preposition cards have written and picture prompts. Pronoun cards can be printed with color prompts if needed.
