These pages are meant to be used to help students think more deeply, learn to find evidence in the text, and make personal, self-to-self connections with the stories they read.
Each chapter has a designated page guide that can be completed in whole group, independent work, centers, or as homework.
My students become more comfortable citing evidence, writing in complete sentences, and giving explanations through using these pages, many of which give constructed response practice.
Chapters 1-6 are available. Chapter 7 is often our springboard to research papers so no work page has been created.
