This learning-centered activity requires students to figure out the rules of a dice game lead by the teacher or a facilitator. The activity includes the game, follow-up questions, and a discussion. I have used this activity with 8th grade students special education students, 9th grade general science students, 11th and 12th grade physics students, college physics students, and college instructors! This activity can be used to show the importance of clear communication, practice critical thinking skills, and improve problem-solving skills. This purchase includes activity guidelines, follow-up questions, and an answer key. If you prefer to show a PowerPoint with the activity (including the dice rolls) rather than using dice, a full 62 slide PowerPoint is also available in my store, Classroom Idea Factory.
