When teaching graphing polar equations, I recommend breaking it up based upon type of graph related. The first graph that I recommend teaching / learning are polar "circles." After teaching this topic, the matching activity would be a great practice activity to complete as a group or a class.
Included are 10 graphs and equations that are ever so slightly different truly assessing whether your students understand the concepts of polar equations and graphs of circles (i.e. r = 3sin(theta).
