When teaching graphing polar equations, I recommend breaking it up based upon type of graph related. One of the more difficult topics for students is roses, specifically using symmetry to graph coordinates so they don't need to make a table for all values. After teaching this topic, the matching activity would be a great practice activity to complete as a group or a class.
Included are 14 graphs and equations that are ever so slightly different truly assessing whether your students understand the concepts of polar equations and graphs of roses (i.e. r = 2sin(4theta).
