Polar Express Reflection Journal is an interactive writing journal that will inspire your students to have fun, reflect on the story, focus on comprehension, be creative, and practice important writing skills all at the same time.

You will find that differentiating for your students is a snap with this writing kit. I included a journal that is on a basic level, and another journal with more advanced prompts. These journals will work for many grade level.

Your students will have the opportunity to practice the following writing skills:

  • State an opinion
  • Include details to describe thoughts and feelings
