Not sure about you other speech-therapists and special education teachers, but I feel like I teach and re-teach irregular plurals. I wanted to create a bundle that would be useful to both regular education teachers and special education teachers. The only way our students will learn this is from repetition and application.
I created two sets of cards:
First set consists of 32 cards. 16 are written passages that are incomplete. The other 16 are the matching irregular plurals to complete the passages. I also created a back side if you want to print them back-to-back and laminate.
Card Set #2 consists of 30 cards. There is a card for each singular and plural word and a picture care for each singular and plural. There are countless activities and games you can do with these cards. I included (4) different activity suggestions for you to try.
Application and Auditory Comprehension Activities:
For each activity there is a teacher and student page. These activities work on strengthening the students’ understanding of irregular plurals by and identifying if they are singular or plural.
F – VES Completion Chard Worksheet
Noun/Verb Agreement Activities
Focused on “to be” and “to have” verbs and how the words change depending on the plurality of the noun. Regular action verbs are also targeted.
