This polar vocabulary set includes vocabulary cards in Spanish for alce, foca, iglu, esquimal, glaciar, oso polar, pinguino, zorro artico, morsa, orca, nieve, and copo de nieve. (Sorry, I haven't figured out how to do accents in the description.)
Included are two sizes of vocabulary cards, 3.5 x 4 inch and 5 x 8.5 inch. There are also matching cards. One card shows the picture while the other shows the word.
Matching cards and small vocabulary cards can be used in a pocket chart or to play Go Fish or Memory.
This pack also includes four activities as well as an arctic food web. One worksheet allows students to identify which animals live in the arctic from a set of several animals.
There is also a food chain cut and paste activity. Students place animals into the correct position on a food chain.
Students can also cut and paste to label the parts of a walrus.
I've also included two different ways to compare walruses and seals. You can choose from a Venn Diagram or a Double Bubble Map.
I'd love your feedback. Is there anything you wish this unit included that I left out. Let me know!
