PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A powerpoint taking you through the chemistry of making a handcream.
It contains a youtube video outlining the process starting with medicinal paraffin, natural beeswax and borax.
Borax is a mild base and is responsible for hydrolyising a small amount of beeswax. Detergent molecules produced by this reaction are responsible for emulsifying the water and oil phases.
