Converting Polar and Rectangular Equations Task Cards, Matching, Graphic Organizer/

is designed for Trigonometry and PreCalculus but can also be used for AP Calculus BC and College Calculus 2 as a review before Polar Calculus Topics.
✓ Task Cards: There are 20 Task Cards. For #1- 12 students convert Polar Equations to Rectangular Equations, and for cards # 13 – 20 students convert Rectangular Equations to Polar Equations .
✓ Master List of Questions which can also be used as an assessment or class worksheet instead of the task cards and can also be used for an absent or homebound student.
✓ Matching /Sort Activity for cards #1 – 12. Included is a page with the graphs of cards #1 – 12. Students can match their answers with the graphs. Students should recognize the rectangular graphs from their answers. This helps them understand the polar graphs and the relationship between polar graphs and rectangular. Of course, the match activity is optional.
