This Police Station dramatic play center is perfect for a community helper's theme. It helps kids learn about what police and detectives do, with a focus on more kid friendly themes such as writing speeding tickets, collecting fingerprints and solving the crime of who stole the cookie!

Why is dramatic play important?

Pretend play helps kids to learn about themselves, the world and how things work. Dramatic play centers also help to strengthen a child's language development (e.g. expressive language, vocabulary), social skills and play skills. Children learn a lot through play!

What I love about this pack!

  • It focuses on police and detective duties that are more kid friendly
  • Real photos of police and detective things (e.g. police car, police dog)
  • Cool printables such as police tape, printable hats and walkie talkies
  • Hands-on police activities such as collecting fingerprints and uncovering paw prints with a brush
