Product Description

This assignment has students examine four policy options used by the governments of Canada and South Africa throughout history: Accommodation, Assimilation, Genocide, and Segregation. Students determine what they think the short-term and long-term consequences would be for each of the policy options. Once complete, they watch a short video on apartheid in South Africa and then decide which policy option they would recommend to the Canadian and South African governments.
