Politics of the 1920's Congressional Mini-Simulation

Product Description

In this lesson students will take on the roles of Congress during the 1920's. They will learn about key political issues including:

  • Harding Administration Corruption
  • The Dawes Plan
  • Republican Economic Policies and Tax Cuts
  • Disarmament Treaties

Students will work in groups to investigate these 4 issues and decide how to vote on each one. Each groups will give short speeches either in support or opposition to each issue and then the class will vote on each one, learning the real result after.
