This is a collection of polygon prefix/root word posters and worksheets. Please download the preview to check out the examples!
There is a poster of basic, traditional polygons from the triangle through dodecagon. Then each shape has its own small poster, which you can use to hang up or to make sorting cards.
Packet includes: basic polygon prefixes, more detailed polygon prefixes (ex. tri- and tre- both represent #3), a large list of words which use the roots/prefixes, root word cards for exploration and dictionary work, and individual polygon prefixes worksheets for display or practice!
Remember to talk to your students about how these can be used as a prefix or the root of a word. My students love making connections between words in all subject areas!
