Description
This assessment tool can be used as a formal assessment or a pre-assessment to check where your students are with their understanding of polygon attributes. The quiz has a few different types of questions, so students will be able to show their knowledge in different ways. Though it focuses more on quadrilateral attributes, it also includes attributes of triangles and other polygons. Answer key is included.
As an aside, the "Bonus" section is dependent upon a prior lesson or activity in class using a "geome-tree" that splits the polygons up clearly following a hierarchy of attributes. This link has a good example, though kite is missing.
