Product Description
This self checking worksheet will have the student factor cubic polynomials (which starts as x^3). All polynomials will factor to an integer or to the nearest half (... -1.5, 0.5, 1.5...). I have my student use a graphing calculator. This finally drives home the point of how zeros and factors are related to a graph. The student will use a decoder to match a 2x3 pattern made with the three solutions to a letter at the bottom of the page to reveal the punch line to a riddle.
