A math spin on a speed dating concept. With a zero card in hand, students find two partners, write down their names, and then set their zero cards side by side. Students write all zeros down, then find the equation of the polynomial function that has those zeros as a solution. Compare equation with their partners. Finally students swap their zero cards, and then find new partners. The zero cards include integer solutions as well as irrational and imaginary roots. Prep for the activity: printing the zero cards on card stock or having them laminated before cutting them into individual cards.
