This product consists of 12 real world and math problems to review polynomials in the form of a Stations Review.
I have used this activity with my Algebra 1 students in preparation for their Polynomials Assessment. Students enjoy the activity and travel at their own pace throughout the stations.
Each student receives a Recording sheet. Laminated problems are placed around the room. Working individually or with partners, students solve the problems at the stations and record their work. Students self-assess using an answer key in an envelope at each station.
This station review takes a full class period to complete. Real world problems have been emphasized.
The twelve stations are:
- Multiplying Monomials
- Dividing Monomials
- Negative Exponents
- Powers of Monomials
- Classifying and Naming Polynomials
- Simplifying Polynomials
- Writing a Polynomial in Standard Form
- Adding Polynomials
- Subtracting Polynomials
- Multiplying Polynomials and Monomials
- Multiplying Polynomials
- Dividing Polynomials and Monomials
