# Polynomials Test (A10A, A10B, A10C)

Product Description
This is a 3-page test with 29 questions and 3 bonus questions over polynomial expressions.

On questions 1 - 6, the student is given a polynomial expression and asked to classify it and state its degree. Some expressions need simplification first.

On questions 7 - 10, the student is given a 3 or 4-sided polygon with polynomial sides lengths (some are monomials) and asked to find either the area or the perimeter of the polygon.

Questions 11 - 25 provide mixed practice on adding polynomials (2 questions), subtracting polynomials (3 questions), multiplying a monomial by a polynomial (3 questions), multiplying a binomial by a binomial (2 questions), dividing a polynomial by a monomial (3 questions) and simplifying an expression that first contains multiplying a monomial by a polynomial (2 questions). Questions begin easy and then become more difficult.

Questions 26 - 29 give the student either a rectangle or a right triangle with polynomial side lengths (some are monomials) and ask them to find both the perimeter and area.

Finally, the test concludes with 3 bonus questions.

Bonus #1: (x + 8)(x - 3) + 4(x - 5)
Bonus #2: a trinomial times a trinomial
Bonus #3: asks the student if it is possible to have a quadratic trinomial and to explain their answer.
