### Description

Please note that this is two versions in one resource. If you prefer a simple printable PDF, you get it. If you would like a version to "Make a Copy" on Google Docs so that you can edit or add to Google Classroom for your students, you simply go to the very last page of the resource and click the link.

This is one of 7 or 8 vocabulary worksheet and quiz resources I have developed for the entire Math 1 curriculum. You will find the others in my store. It's very straightforward with no bells and whistles, but I'm of the opinion that vocabulary quizzes don't need a whole lot of that. There is a worksheet with 15 words (listed below) with blanks beside them for writing the definition. What I did last year was print this worksheet out on both sides of a piece of paper. On one side, the student researched and found the definitions for all 15 words. After the students had done that, I put the definitions I had developed on the board. Those same definitions are on the quiz, word for word. This is a quiz that SHOULD be an easy quiz grade, but it's done that way by design. Since they have to find their own definition and they are also given a very kid friendly definition that they must write down, they have a much better chance of actually retaining each definition while earning a good grade in the process.
