This is a lesson on Pop Art. The lesson teaches students about the style, subject matter, and influences of Pop Art. It also teaches about the four main American Pop artists: Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, and Roy Lichtenstein. The lesson also includes step by step instructions for students to create a portrait using analogous colors. Also included is a graphic organizer for students to take notes on the presentation and a grading rubric to grade completed projects. The lesson has pictures of a PowerPoint presentation that I use to present the information about Pop Art and the steps to the project. This PowerPoint presentation is also for sale on my site.
