PDF File - 50 Pop Composition Cut & Paste Activities Easy to Advanced

This is a fun cut and paste activity to assess your students composition skills at ANY LEVEL! These 50 Pop composition activities are designed to be a life long tool, as the rhythms, staff, and time signatures range in difficulty as you progress from page 1 to page 50.

Directions:

Step 1. Compose.

Students will be given a popsicle with a top section, and a bottom section. The top section provides them the rhythms, & rhythm values they must use for their composition. The rhythms range in difficulty from page 1 to 40. Students must then use the rhythms prompted in the top section for their composition below. Treble and Bass clef Pops are provided.

Step 2. Color & Cut.

Students may then color the outline of their Pop Composition. Once they finish coloring, they should cut out the popsicle as a whole.
