HOW TO USE THE POPCORN BUCKETS AND WORDS:
There are many ways to use the items provided in this resource. Here are some examples:
1. Print the popcorn buckets and words on cardstock, laminate and cut out. Provide students with popcorn buckets and words along with a recording sheet. The students match the popcorn words to the correct contraction bucket. Then they write their answer on the recording sheet.
2. You can also use the blank buckets with the popcorn words. Have the students select two popcorn words and then write the contraction on the bucket with a wet/dry marker.
3. Put small magnets on the back of the popcorn buckets and popcorn words. Put these on a magnetic board and have the students match the popcorn words to the buckets. Then they can write their answers on the recording sheet.
Your students will have lots of fun with these popcorn contractions!
