Who knew popcorn and time signatures went together so well?
In this game your students will be trying to get the popcorn (measure of rhythm) to the correct container (time signature).
Suggestions for whole class play are included for both a non- and competitive setting with a suggestion for that class that needs that extra challenge.
This game can be used with full page printable pictures or smaller (four to a page popcorn and two to a page time signatures) for smaller groups or less paper usage.
Suggestions for a game much like Post Office that requires only some of the pages to be printed and most to be projected also included.
Files use beginning level rhythms, quarter notes, eighth notes, and quarter rest, in 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 time, and another file with slightly more advanced rhythms that contain half notes and sixteenth notes in 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4.
