PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Don't let the lack of bright colors and clip art fool you...this is a quality product that will help you take student learning up a notch!

This experiment recording sheet is designed to accompany the Poprocks and Soda Experiment. First a packet of Poprocks is put into a balloon. Then attach the balloon to the mouth of a soda bottle (we used Coke) dumping all of the Poprocks into the soda. With a little shake, the students will be in awe as you'll begin to see the balloon expand! The students must investigate what substance filled the balloon and how do they know!?

This experiment is aligned with the 2nd Grade Virginia Science Standards of Learning 2.1 (science skills) and 2.3a (identifying characteristics of solids, liquids, and gases).
