Pg. 7 Spelling Fun! – time to get a little crazy with your spelling words – write them with your eyes closed, with your opposite hand, with curls at the end of each letter, with your favorite color, in all capitals, in all lowercase – roll the dice to see what to do – write each word 3 times
Pg. 8-9 Finding the Perfect Fit! – unscramble each spelling word, color the puzzle piece depending on the vowel combination

Pg. 23- 24 Word Search! – enough for two students on each sheet, cut in half, fold accordion style, look through the reading selection Pop’s Bridge and find different examples of words with the endings –ed, -ing, -s, -es - write them in the appropriate box – use this accordion book with the Hat’s Off to Endings! Book
Pg. 25-26 Hat’s Off to Endings! - choose some of the words you found and use them in sentences – choose two words to use in sentences with the –ed ending, and with the –ing ending – write one sentence each for the –s ending and the –es ending - circle whether or not the –s /-es words are a verb or a plural noun
