This is a two-page document, containing detailed notes and examples on how to use these two tricky prepositions.
The notes page is divided into a two-section chart, por on one side and para on the other. I have my students make flashcards with this page of notes. I have them write down the "clue word" on one side of the card, and the sentence that goes with it on the reverse.
Side A) through, Side B) Me gusta caminar POR el parque.
Side A) recipient, Side B) El regalo es PARA mi abuelo.
The students will use these 17 cards to quiz themselves, a partner, and to silently "sort" the cards at their desk as bell work.
The second page has practice questions, which could be used as a handout to either go along with the notes or for homework.
