This practice divides the uses of Por and Para into multiple categories that are easy to study. Several sample sentences per category are included along with their translations. Once students have read through the sentences, they should write their own sentences, peer edit them with a friend and rewrite them. Both copies of sentences should be turned in. To help them write sentences I have included useful words where appropriate under each category heading and spaces to write original sentences. This activity is best to break up into various class periods. An alternative use of this packet is to create a quiz using the sample sentences, of which there are about 140.
