This is an editable file designed to help you organize your students' work portfolios. Many of us are required to have portfolios with student work, in designated areas in our classrooms, to showcase whenever district visitors or state department visitors come to our classrooms. In many cases, there are specific subject areas they are looking for.
This file is perfect for those instances, as well as for parent conferences and Open House!
This file contains 6 cover sheets in the areas of Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Writing, Math, and English Language Development. Each page includes a clip art graphic from Word 2010, the subject area, and a line for students' names.
You can print the cover sheets in color or gray scale. I always staple the cover sheets to the front of manila folders. I pick different colored manila folders for each subject area. It makes it easier for me to distinguish between subject areas when I am organizing my portfolios into bins.
When visitors and parents come into my classroom, the portfolios are either in their designated bins or across students' desks. It makes my life so much easier!
I hope this resource is helpful to you as it is for me!
